Commission Disclosure Policy

Honesty and transparency are important to us. This Commission Disclosure Policy explains how and when we may earn a commission.

1. Existence of Commission

We act as a credit broker and receive commission and/or other remuneration from lessors/funders and vehicle leasing providers when we arrange consumer hire (PCH) or leasing agreements for customers. This commission forms part of our business income.

2. Nature of Commission
  • Initial commission payments when agreements are arranged
  • Ongoing commission payments throughout the term of the agreement
  • Volume-based incentives and bonuses
  • Other fees and remuneration from lessors/funders
3. Impact on Pricing

Important: The commission arrangements we have with lessors/funders could affect the price you pay for your hire or leasing agreement. This is because:

  • Providers factor commission costs into their pricing structures
  • Different providers may offer different commission rates
  • The amount of commission may vary between different products and terms
4. Commission Amount Disclosure

Upon request, we will disclose:

  • The specific amount of commission we expect to receive from your chosen provider
  • How this commission is calculated (e.g., percentage of amount financed, fixed fee, etc.)
  • Any ongoing commission payments throughout the agreement term
5. Our Approach to Product Selection

We offer products from a limited range of providers (a panel). We will explain this to you and you can request a list of the providers we work with.

We will also explain the basis on which we select products to recommend to you, including how commission arrangements may influence our recommendations.

6. Your Rights
  • You have the right to request specific details about the commission we will receive
  • You can ask us to explain how our commission arrangements might affect the products we recommend
  • You can choose to shop around with other brokers or approach providers directly
  • You have the right to complain if you believe we have not properly disclosed commission arrangements
7. Regulatory Compliance

This disclosure is provided in accordance with:

  • FCA Consumer Credit sourcebook (CONC) rules (credit broking and consumer hire)
  • FCA Insurance Conduct of Business sourcebook (ICOBS) rules where applicable
  • Recent Court of Appeal guidance on commission disclosure requirements
